Professional Regulation of SLP
In the United Kingdom the firm of SLP and its partners, are regulated by The Solicitors Regulation Authority established by The Law Society of England and Wales (ID number 404595).
SLP is the trading name of Ellistons LLP which is a limited liability partnership; Registration Number OC308533 and for which the VAT Registration Number is 843 3495 16.
They are also regulated in accordance with the Solicitors' Act 1974, as amended and supplemented by the Administration of Justice Act 1985, the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990 and the Access to Justice Act 1999. The Solicitors' (Disciplinary Proceedings Rules) 1994, the Solicitors (Non-Contentious Business) (Remuneration) Order 1994, the Conditional Fees Regulations 2000, the Conditional Fees Order 2000, the Collective Conditional Fee Agreements Regulations 2000, the European Communities (Lawyer's Practice Regulations) 2000 and the European Communities (Lawyer's Practice) (Amendment) Regulations 2001 are also relevant.
