Peter Elliston - Senior Partner

Peter is our Real Estate specialist bringing a proactive drive to conclude a wide range of commercial and residential transactions and shares his much sought-after legal and practical advice with clients. 

He qualified as a solicitor over 40 years ago, attained a double first degree in Law at Cambridge and achieved Honours in the Solicitors Final Examination. He is a highly respected professional whose knowledge and client service have helped him to retain many clients throughout his career, some of them for decades, whilst constantly providing an equally first class and bespoke service to new clients. Peter is closely concerned in the management and development of all aspects of the Practice.

For over 15 years Graham has specialised in residential property and commercial lending and gives clients that particular experience and attention to personal service so vital to the firm's valued private and commercial clients alike. 

 

In fact, he has such a loyal clientele, dealing with the full run of property-related, non-contentious matters, including equity release, Graham has been known to advise three generations of a family at the same time! He has been a solicitor for over 30 years and brings a wealth of experience to be able to solve clients' property-related problems quickly with the minimum of fuss.

Partner , Chartered Legal Executive

Stuart is a Chartered Legal Executive and practices in a wide range of property matters, both residential and commercial. 

Having previously managed and supervised an in-house legal department dealing with high volume mortgage and secured loan origination work, he has significant experience in acting for mortgage lenders and borrowers with regard to loan origination work, including bridging finance, secured loans and loans to assist borrowers with development projects of varying scales, ranging from small scale refurbishment work to multimillion pound developments.  Stuart is also a member of the Equity Release Council with experience in acting for borrowers who are taking out equity release finance of their homes.

Stuart also has a wealth of experience in acting for individuals and companies with regard to the sale, purchase and mortgage of both residential and commercial properties, both freehold and leasehold, voluntary and statutory lease extensions and other routine conveyancing transactions such as licences to alter, deeds of covenant & grants of easement.

Sital Patel, Partner SLP

Sital Patel - Partner

Since qualification, Sital has spent most of her time dealing with a mixed case load of defended litigation work for clients from claims against forgery and undue influence, debt recovery, personal injury to many other complex transactions. She also undertakes Wills & Probate and Leasehold Enfranchisement work. 

 

Sital brings to the practice an analytically driven service which is tailored to achieve and meet client objectives. Having read a degree in Business and Law and completed her LPC with a commendation, Sital qualified as a Solicitor in 2006.

Jat Patti, Partner SLP

Jat has over 20 years’ experience acting for a variety of short term and term lenders on regulated and non-regulated loans, loans to individuals and corporate bodies, multi million pound loans secured over numerous titles/securities, purchases, refinances and further advances. He has dealt with most types of securities from mixed-used buildings to warehouses.

Jat has experience with loans over development/build projects where funds are released in staged payments and with transactions involving loan origination through to repossession sales. He has also managed various teams of lawyers servicing lenders, including an in-house legal department for a highly successful commercial lender.
